The Microbiology Media Services Core Facility is fully staffed and equipped to provide complete services in hand poured, made-to-order microbiological media. The Media Services mission is to provide speedy and accurate products that enhance user confidence.

Services
- Liquid or solid media in various amounts
- Prepared to lab specifications
- Hand poured
- Plates of diverse types
- Media with or without antibiotics
- 48 hour incubated quality control
- All additives measured and incorporated into media by senior personnel
Capacity
- 25 liters (approximately 1,000 plates) daily
- Orders may exceed the daily capacity, but will be divided into smaller batches
Cost
- $24.42/liter (30 – 40 plates) for labor; investigator provides materials
- $28.42/blood liter (30 – 40 plates) for labor; investigator provides materials
