Applicants working in any area of microbiology, including pathogenesis, will be considered. Applicants with bold new perspectives and ‘outside the box’ approaches, particularly those focused on interdisciplinary, collaborative research are strongly encouraged as are those from members of groups that are typically under‐represented in science.
Graduate students, including MD-PhD, and postdocs are eligible. Applicants are encouraged to apply prior to graduation but must have received their degree before starting as a Fellow. Eligibility is restricted to applicants who have not graduated yet or have graduated within two years prior to the application deadline.
